Youth & Scholarships

The Clan Henderson Society encourages youth engagement with Scottish heritage by supporting studies in the Celtic Arts, Highland Sports, and Celtic Culture.

Scholarships can support pursuits such as bagpiping, drumming, Highland dance, fiddling, Celtic harp, and similar Scottish traditional arts.

Applicants must be under 26 as of December 31 in the application year. No minimum age, but applicants must demonstrate dedication, growth, and progress. Applications can be mailed or emailed — handwritten applications are accepted, and parental help for younger children is permitted.

Application Period: January 1 to April 1 each year.
Awards Announced: Checks mailed by June 10.
Usage Requirement: Scholarship funds must be used within the same calendar year, with documentation of intended use provided by September 1.
Award Amount: Determined annually by the Society.
