The Henderson Surname DNA Project at Family Tree DNA has reached a significant milestone, with over 200 participants now contributing to our understanding of Henderson genetic heritage.
Recent analysis has confirmed several distinct Henderson lineages corresponding to the five traditional branches: Caithness, Fordell, Glencoe, Shetlands/Liddesdale, and Ulster. The DNA evidence increasingly supports the historical records of these separate origins.
